Disease of the heart

    Red for the vivid emotions , purple for the quietness of my heart saying " hold on ". This drawing , part of the collection " What's going on ? " was made during a tough time experiencing depression from PMS . It made simple things feel impossible, but art kept me tethered to the present moment and connected to myself. 

It is deeply personal, but it carries the message that your darkness doesn't define you , but the courage to reach for the loving, peaceful part of yourself does.
